2024 brings new codes and the potential of significant new guidelines to the ICD-10-CM code set. Each year, new diagnosis codes are released that are effective October 1st for the upcoming year. The diversity of new codes can be extreme. But an office’s knowledge of what codes their providers use that might be updates or new codes they may use is important to expand upon on each year.
